Aviva's Ego Dome
About Me

This is the page where I'll describe myself in more detail.

I was born in Tel Aviv in 1972...  I won't give a play by play... but here's where I am for the moment:

I'm now in Colombia... I've finished a school year.  Grade 4 Language Arts.  Next year it's grade 3, Math, Science, and L.Arts... I'm looking forward to that.

More details about where I am now can be found in my diary off my main page.

When I'm not traveling or teaching, or learning how to be 'an effective teacher' (TM Harry Wong) I'm sitting here at my computer making an esthetically pleasing and comprehensive website.

Of course I'm lying.  I like girly stuff like crafts, dancing, gardening, I like to take photos. I like to read, children's picture books mostly.

Favorites

Song:  So I don't have a favorite song, but I'm listening to a lot of Jack Johnson and Ben Harper recently.  And, of course, I'm watching "music" on t.v. (see shameful admissions below)

Movie: well, I just got the "Rosencrantz and Gildenstern are Dead"  DVD and it remains a classic favorite of mine.  Anything with Johnny Depp goes down well.  Waiting to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory... but most importantly for summer viewing  STAR WARS  Yay!  Just saw the trailer for the first time... how exciting! (even though it's out, I have to wait 'till I get home 'cause ... well I'm in the deserts of Colombia, aren't I?)

Food: found some Cheddar Cheese in Barranquilla at an import Deli for an exorbidant price... but worth it!  I have now eaten all the North American chocolate brought to me by my father 2 months ago.  I want to cry. Back to Canada soon to re-stock.

TV Show: Desperate housewives and .... ugh (see Shameful Admissions below)

Shameful Admissions:

wink!

Ok, the most shameful thing I have to admit right now is that I'm an American Idol addict this season.  And I watched every show and got hooked on a contestant (Bo Bice).  How embarassing!

Yuck:

These days I hate puberty.  It's a horrible spotty nasty time and nobody deserves to go through it... and yet we all do... yuck indeed
